Hot Lithography on PROTIQ Marketplace - the cost-effective alternative to injection molded parts

Merchant news by F. & G. Hachtel GmbH & Co.KG
Thanks to the partnership between PROTIQ Marketplace and F. & G. Hachtel GmbH, customers can now order high-precision components manufactured using the additive hot lithography process.

High-tech for everyone

As a specialist for high-quality plastic components, F. & G. Hachtel GmbH offers additively manufactured components with particularly high requirements in terms of dimensional accuracy and material properties. The innovative 3D printing process of hot lithography, developed by Cubicure GmbH, is suitable both for functional prototypes for product development and for small series that are ready to use immediately. The components can even be used for precision applications at ambient temperatures around 300 °C.

"Our ambition is to offer a cost-effective alternative to injection-molded components that serve not only as prototypes, but are also suitable for directly ready to use small series," says Maximilian Ruoff, Team Leader Project Management Additive + CT Technologies at F. & G. Hachtel GmbH.

Very good mechanical properties, with a surface quality from stereolithography

The additive manufacturing process of hot lithography is similar to the well-known process of stereolithography but is characterized by a new system technology patented by Cubicure, as well as innovative materials developed specifically for this purpose. In this way, the specially developed process allows photopolymers to be used, resulting in high-precision, high-performance materials with very good thermal and mechanical properties. At the same time, the components show the familiar good surface quality from stereolithography processes. This makes the components perfectly suitable as a substitute for items that were previously manufactured using classic injection molding processes and at the same time are only required in small quantities, such as spare parts or special editions.

"The cooperation with Protiq offers us the opportunity to make challenging additive solutions accessible to everyone," says Maximilian Ruoff.

Overall quality standard, according to the motto: "We see through technology!"

The high quality standards at F. & G. Hachtel GmbH are also reflected in the use of industrial computer tomography. One sample per print job is scanned and thus completely digitized. The digital twin offers the possibility to check the dimensional accuracy and form fidelity quickly and easily. In addition, various analyses can still be carried out later.

With its innovative manufacturing process and impressive component properties, combined with the highest level of detail and quality, F. & G. Hachtel GmbH perfectly complements the wide portfolio on the PROTIQ Marketplace.

Convince yourself of the advantages of hot lithography! Due to the fast additive manufacturing process, you will receive the components within a few days.
