The cycle life of induction coils is an essential criterion for economic efficiency and process reliability in the application. In close cooperation with PROTIQ, we were able to increase the service life of induction coils by a factor of 4 to 6 by optimizing materials, inductor design and adapting process parameters during sintering. Compared to conventional manufacturing processes in inductor construction (such as bending, milling, turning and soldering), this has resulted in a considerable advantage in terms of cost-effectiveness and design freedom.
