Y-Axis

The Y-axis is one of the three principal axes in a Cartesian coordinate system used in 3D printing. It typically represents the front-to-back movement of the print head or build platform. Precise control of the Y-axis is essential for accurate positioning, layer alignment, and dimensional consistency in printed parts. Together with the X- and Z-axes, it defines the spatial orientation of the object being manufactured.
