Vapor Smoothing

Vapor smoothing in 3D printing is a surface finishing technique in which 3D-printed plastic parts are exposed to a solvent vapor. This process has the effect of smoothing the surface of the printed parts by minimizing layer lines and achieving an even, flawless finish. The application of this technique not only results in an aesthetically pleasing surface, but also improves the mechanical properties of the component. By reducing surface roughness, the component becomes more resistant to wear, which extends its service life and simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
