Surface finishing

After production, the surface of a 3D object can be finished in a variety of ways. These include painting, coloring, fine sanding or coating. For example, the components can be coated with various metals (copper, aluminum, tin, zinc, iron, brass, stainless steel, bronze, gold). Depending on the finish, the surface can be matt, glossy, textured, rusty or patinated. Advantage: The price is significantly lower than for a model made entirely of metal.
