Surface finishing

After production, the surface of a 3D object can be finished in many different ways. These include painting, coloring, fine sanding or coating. The components can, for example, be coated with various metals (copper, aluminum, tin, zinc, iron, brass, stainless steel, bronze and gold). Depending on the type of processing, the surface can be given a matte, glossy, textured, rusty or patinated finish. Advantage: The price is significantly lower than with a model made entirely of metal.
