Rapid manufacturing

Production process for the fast and flexible production of components/series using additive production systems. Objects are produced directly from model data (3D CAD files), thus making additional tools unnecessary. The materials used include plastic, metal, ceramics and glass. Rapid manufacturing is used in the mass production of micro components and in systems for larger components, such as in the automotive and aviation industries or power plants.
