Ceramic 3D printing
This additive production process is also known as lithography-based ceramic manufacturing (LCM). Three-dimensional components with the properties of technical ceramics are created in several production stages. Initially, a basic form is built up layer by layer with a liquid ceramic monomer suspension and this is then hardened with UV light. In the process of thermal debinding, the plastic components are removed again. In order to increase the density of the component, the ceramic object then undergoes a sintering process.
