OTWorld 2022

OTWorld will take place in Leipzig from May 10 to 13, 2022. The world's leading orhopaedics trade fair is aimed at orthopaedic technicians, orthopaedic shoemakers, rehabilitation technicians, therapists and doctors, engineers, the medical trade and employees of the funding agencies. This year's congress will have a special focus on "sports orthopedics" and "para-sports" as well as "surgery" and "orthopedic technical care".

3D printing has become an integral part of the orthopedic field - no wonder, as additive manufacturing enables the rapid and precise production of patient-specific solutions. As an experienced 3D printing service provider, we at PROTIQ know exactly which processes and materials can be used to achieve the best results for very specific use cases. Together with the know-how of experienced orthopedic experts, this enables us to develop innovative and high-quality solutions that not only advance the industry as a whole, but also improve individual patient care.

One example of our work in the orthopedics sector is our 3D-printed shoe lasts: With a free last configurator, we make it possible to model individual last models quickly and easily. The orthopedic shoe lasts can then be conveniently ordered from us and processed on the workbench just a few days later. This is made possible by additive manufacturing using the laser sintering process. Due to the TPU material used, the lasts can be processed in the same way as conventional wooden lasts - however, they are available much faster and thus also shorten the time until the patient can be cared for.
