Formnext 2017: PROTIQ introduces the new Marketplace

With a lot of new innovations in tow, the team from PROTIQ Marketplace went to Formnext in Frankfurt from November 14th through the 17th, 2017. During four exciting days we made new contacts, gained valuable knowledge, and provided our customers with the same.

More than 21,000 visitors flocked to Formnext in the exhibition halls of the Messe Frankfurt this year—an increase of more than 60 percent compared to the previous year. The impressive attendance record at the trade show for additive manufacturing is a reflection of the growth dynamics of the entire industry. Many industrial specialists visited the PROTIQ stand throughout the course of the entire trade show. In addition to exciting 3D objects from our own production, we also focused on the entire value chain. “After a successful launch on November 6th, we presented the PROTIQ Marketplace to the public for the first time,” said Dr. Ralf Gärtner, Managing Director of PROTIQ. “Above all, the process-supporting engineering tools from our e-commerce platform provided impetus for exciting discussions—both with customers and with future new marketplace partners.” The interaction of optimized ordering processes and fast additive manufacturing helps companies with shorter waiting times to become even more efficient.
