Strong cooperation with Conrad Electronic

Visitors to the Conrad Electronic website will now also receive PROTIQ's world-class 3D printing service – and can configure and order it on a dedicated cooperation platform.

750,000 items for private customers and over 1.4 million items for business customers – Conrad Electronic’s portfolio makes clear that there is a sizable electronics company behind the popular online portal. PROTIQ is now working with Europe's leading omnichannel electronics and technology provider to tap into new opportunities: "Thanks to the new service offering, business costumers of Conrad can now also purchase custom-made 3D printing products as quickly as is possible," explains Dr. Ralf Gärtner, Managing Director of PROTIQ. "We have jointly set up a new online platform for the cooperative project. From the service area, interested parties are guided directly to our services." Customers can use the 3D configurators of the PROTIQ Marketplace as well as the broad range of processes and materials to select their desired 3D products in the blink of an eye and, of course, also order them straight away. Since they can place the order via their existing Conrad user account, they need not even register with PROTIQ. Like the existing PROTIQ Marketplace, the joint platform impresses with its intuitive and user-friendly interface and modern layout.

The PROTIQ GmbH is continuously expanding its own portfolio and activities on the Marketplace. The new connection to the electronics industry opens the door to target groups who have no prior experience with 3D printed products. “In addition to established scopes of applications like prototyping and the production of small series, PROTIQ´s 3D service also addresses companies from the maintenance. Additive manufacturing is ideal for the production of spare parts or the individual modification of tools”, explains Markus Obermeier, area manager of Conrad Electronic. Educational institutions such as schools, colleges and training companies are also among our customers. Here 3D print models are often used for teaching purposes.”
